To get a job in Kurashiki Central Hospital, Japan, in addition to a written test, medical school students must pass three rather peculiar non-standard tests:

  1. Fold a miniature origami — no larger than five millimeters long;
  2. Correctly put together disjointed parts of a beetle;
  3. Cook a tiny sushi.
